Our Mission
Here, at Paradise Massage, we believe that one who gets massages on a regular basis is more peaceful, healthy & happy then one who doesn't. Also, we know that peaceful, healthy & happy people create a world of harmony, love, and abundance for everyone. Therefore, our mission is to help create a better world by increasing the number of peaceful, healthy & happy people one massage at a time, doing as many massages as necessary.
Scholarship Program
At Paradise Massage, we help create a better world by giving away massage scholarships in the amounts of $25, $50 or $75 totaling 10% of Paradise Massage's yearly income. These scholarships are given to single parents, low income, disabled clients or whoever needs a massage to improve their wellbeing but may not be able to afford it. This massage service, as any other massage services we offer, is delivered to your door step and scheduled around your availability. So, if you or someone you know, needs a massage desperately, but can afford paying only part of the fee or not at all, please have them call us to receive their massage scholarship today. Thank you!
About the Owner
Growing up with all the turmoil in Israel, I came to appreciate & love the peace Hawaii has to offer.
Aloha! My name is Ilan Lagnado. I am the owner & Lead therapist of Paradise Massage, a mobile massage company overseeing the island of Maui. Ilan in the Hebrew language, which I spoke growing up, means 'tree', any kind of tree. This name describes me well as I am big & strong as well as flexible & nurturing :)
I was born and raised in the city of Nazareth in Israel. After graduating from the University of Hawaii in Hilo, Hawaii, earning my BA's in Mathematics & Performing Arts, I taught at Hawaii Community College and at the Hawaiian Kamehameha School in addition to being part of several theatre productions.
After having been introduced to meditation & yoga, I participated in several 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats & studied yoga for years. My experience, knowledge & love of performing arts, meditation & yoga
lead me to pursue my massage career that became my passion & calling.
I trained at & worked for high-end resorts, such as the Sheraton Hotel & the Grand Wailea Resort, here on Maui. Therefore, when you lay on my massage table, you receive that great massage quality you would get from me at the spa, but much, much better, since this is my private practice :) It is my honor to serve & provide you with your best massage experience so far.
